Tateyama, located on the east end of Boso
peninsula, is well known as a wonderful resort
area near metropolis.
It lies between two different seas, one is
the calm coast of Tokyo bay ,and another
is the rough sea of Pacific Ocean(the lighthouse
of Sunosaki marks the boundary of two
coasts). You can enjoy both scene by only
10 minutes drive.
And on the land, from autumn to winter ,you
can enjoy the beautiful scenery of flower
fields. Poppy, stock, marguerite, pansy.......

Siomi (the meaning of this name is "tide
looking") is located on the middle of
north coast of Tateyama, ,facing Tokyo
bay. There are many playing spots around
Siomi----- tennis coats, golf courses, botanical
gardens, submarine-seeing-boats, fishing
spots, and flower fields.

A fine inn in front of Siomi shore is Tarobe.
The beach is only 30 seconds walk. There
you can enjoy walking, swimming, fishing.....just
like on the private beach. And off the shore
, you can look over crossing ships, Miura
peninsula, Amagi mountains and Mt.Fuji.
